Social Democratic Party (SDP) replaced Stjepan Ivanisevic who asked to be relieved of his duty several months ago due to health reasons. Anticevic-Marinovic, born in 1957, graduated at the Split Law School and practised law before becoming a parliament representative. Mimica, the new European integration minister, was until now the chief negotiator in the Stabilisation and Association process with the European Union. Born in 1953, he graduated at the Zagreb Faculty of Economics. He replaced Ivan Jakovcic who resigned early this summer after his party, the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS), left the ruling coalition.(hina) it
