Minister Bozo Kovacevic said the conference marked the beginning of activities in the field. Kovacevic said his ministry planned to adjust the national legislation regulating environmental issues to that of the European Union, establish an environmental protection agency and make the role of the public in the protection of environment more relevant. Potential donors were offered 60 priority projects from state, private and non-government sectors, worth 570 million dollars.
