SOCIALIST INTERNATIONAL CALLS FOR FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM

BELGRADE, Sept 18 (Hina) - The Socialist International has called on the international community to help in the fight against terrorism, stressing that countries should share responsibility in that fight. At the end of a two-day conference in the Yugoslav capital of Belgrade on Tuesday, the alliance adopted a declaration urging help for Yugoslavia's transition and admission to international institutions, as well as for the integration of Balkan countries in Europe and their mutual cooperation. Participating in the event were Socialists, Social Democrats and members of similar parties from Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Spain, Russia, Croatia, Austria, France, Albania, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Denmark, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia.
