conference in the Yugoslav capital of Belgrade on Tuesday, the alliance adopted a declaration urging help for Yugoslavia's transition and admission to international institutions, as well as for the integration of Balkan countries in Europe and their mutual cooperation. Participating in the event were Socialists, Social Democrats and members of similar parties from Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Spain, Russia, Croatia, Austria, France, Albania, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Denmark, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia. for Yugoslavia's transition and admission to international

The document also welcomed the agreement on the resolution of the
crisis in Macedonia and urged full compliance with the deal.
SI considers that the European Union should by the year 2002 admit
current candidate-countries and create conditions for Balkan
countries to become admission candidates.
