VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, Sept 6 (Hina) - A European youth peace conference, called "Living Bridges - Europe Without Wars", which gathered 50 students from 21 countries, including students from all former Yugoslav republics, is being held in
the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar between September 1 and 8. The purpose of the conference, organised and hosted by the Vinkovci Centre for Civil Cooperation, is to warn that "the youth do not want borders and wars, but a future of science, love and tolerance," head of the centre Marija Molnar said Thursday. "We did not start any war - it was the adults who started them in the name of their political beliefs or religion and we are not interested in that," read a message of the conference's participants.
