PRISTINA, Sept 12 (Hina) - A few thousand people gathered in downtown Pristina Wednesday afternoon, expressing solidarity with the American people in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York and the
Pentagon. The gathered carried American flags, candles and numerous signs, like "America, we're with you", and "America, we share your pain". Similar gatherings of solidarity, condemning Tuesday's terrorist attacks, were also held in other cities in Kosovo. The attack aimed at the US democratic principles was also condemned by the leading Kosovar Albanian political party, the Kosovar Democratic Union, as well as other Kosovo political parties. Members of the Kosovar security corps organised a voluntary blood drive throughout the day.
