ZAGREB, Sept 12 (Hina) - The Croatian Post (HP) workers' unions have postponed a day-long strike previously announced for Thursday, September 13. The HP strikers' committee postponed the strike following Tuesday's agreement with the
employers on the text of a collective agreement and the purchase of equipment for the protection of post workers, offices and vehicles. The unions' request regarding the purchase of Croatian Telecom (HT) shares under privileged conditions has remained unresolved because the HP Management claims the request is within the government's jurisdiction. The unions have also postponed a protest rally of HP and HT workers, which was to take place in Zagreb on the day of the strike.(hina) rml
