SARAJEVO, Sept 7 (Hina) - The Inter-religious Council of Bosnia-Herzegovina issued a statement calling on all the faithful and all citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina to refrain from violent acts against persons, officials, religious
facilities and property, no matter to which religious community or Church they belonged, the Catholic agency Ika reported today. After yesterday's session, the Council called on "people with good intentions to join in in the creation of a free and democratic society in which every person and community in Bosnia-Herzegovina can exercise their rights and develop their identity as was always the case in Bosnia-Herzegovina". The statement was signed by Serb Orthodox Metropolitan Nikolaj, Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic community, Mustafa ef. Ceric, Sarajevo Archbishop Cardinal Vinko Puljic, and president of the Jewish community in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jakob Finci.(hina) lml
