SARAJEVO, Aug 28 (Hina) - International Stabilisation Force (SFOR) troops in Bosnia-Herzegovina are carrying out a military exercise in eastern Bosnia aimed at training operative reserves, SFOR spokesman Andrew Coxhead said in
Sarajevo on Tuesday. The exercise will last three weeks, until September 14, and during its course helicopter and plane flights in that part of the country will be intensified. The exercise includes troops whose countries have permanently deployed units in this part of the country, such as Germany, Spain, Portugal and Italy. The eastern parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina are frequently mentioned as a probable hideout of Bosnia's two most wanted war crimes suspects - Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic. The SFOR spokesman, however, dismissed the possibility that the exercise could be linked to anything but regular and previously scheduled SFOR activities.(hina) sb rml
