MOSTAR, Aug 9 (Hina) - Bosnia's state border police arrested 54 Turkish citizens who last night tried to cross the border into Croatia near Vrgorac in north-western Bosnia, the United Nations Mission said on Thursday. The state border
police and the International Police Task Force established that the Turks entered Bosnia at the airport in the north-eastern town of Tuzla. Twenty said they had flown in on Aug. 5 and the other 34 on Aug. 7, both on Air Bosna flights, according to a UN Mission spokesman. Earlier this week the Mission accused the Air Bosna company of consciously helping potential illegal immigrants enter Bosnia after deciding recently to redirect regular Turkish flights for Sarajevo via the Tuzla airport. established that the Turks entered Bosnia at the airport in the
north-eastern town of Tuzla. Twenty said they had flown in on Aug. 5
and the other 34 on Aug. 7, both on Air Bosna flights, according to a
UN Mission spokesman.
Earlier this week the Mission accused the Air Bosna company of

According to Mission data, Air Bosna flew 118 passengers in from

The spokesman said the carrier was deliberately trying to avoid
state border police control, which has not yet been established at
the Tuzla airport.
