ZAGREB, Sept 3 (Hina) - Croatian Vice-Premier Zeljka Antunovic, heading a delegation to the world conference on racism in Durban, today held talks with the vice-president of the Republic of South Africa, Jacob Zuma. The government's
public relations office reported Antunovic stressed the importance Croatia is paying to the promotion of human rights. She informed the president of a forthcoming human rights conference scheduled for October in Dubrovnik, which is organised by the Croatian government in cooperation with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Council of Europe. Antunovic voiced her government's support to President Mbeki's New African Initiative for the reconstruction and development of the African continent, and invited President Zuma to visit Croatia.(hina) lml sb
