DUBROVNIK, Sept 1 (Hina) - Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic confirmed on Saturday that he had met the Chief Prosecutor of the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Carla del Ponte, and described the meeting
as important, "because it concerned the definition of Serbia's aggression on Croatia." Granic says del Ponte is grateful for what Croatia has done regarding the gathering of evidence for crimes committed on its territory. The evidence is question is extensive, Granic said, adding the meeting also tackled the fulfilment of regular mutual obligations, the conclusions of the Croatian parliament on cooperation with the tribunal, and the Croatian government's obligations regarding that cooperation.(hina) rml
