arrested on the border between Kosovo and Macedonia. Large quantities of weapons were also confiscated, KFOR spokesman Howard Rhoades said. KFOR has stepped up security along the border with Macedonia in an attempt to prevent illegal border crossings. A conflict occurred between Serbs and Albanians near Kosovska Mitrovica over a car accident. In the conflict at least four French KFOR soldiers who tried to stop the fight were injured. A group of 60 Albanians and Serbs used a simple car accident in the village of Suhodol to start a fight. When KFOR troops tried to assist the UN police to divide the conflicted sides, they were stoned. Four French soldiers were hurt, Rhoades said.(hina) lml
