ZAGREB, Aug 21 (Hina) - The Croatian Interior Ministry said on Tuesday it agreed the transfer of 400 surplus employees, who were made available to the government in early August, to the Security Service Association, which is part of
the Croatian Employers' Association. The implementation of the agreement will begin immediately by employing surplus police at security services in Rijeka and Zagreb. Along with previous agreements with the 'Mungos' mine removal company and the Croatian Mine Action Centre, today's agreement covers the largest part of the Ministry's programme on providing for surplus labour. Over the past two weeks, employment has been secured for 1,100 police officers who were put at the government's disposal earlier this month. (hina) rml
