OSIJEK, Aug 13 (Hina) - A larger amount of explosive devices was found in a discarded carrier bag in the yard of a motel in eastern Croatia on Monday. According to local police that found the bag by the motel near the road between
Ernestinovo and Laslovo, it contained 11 hand grenades, cannon ammunition, 1.8 kilograms of explosive and about 150 pieces of different ammunition. In the wake of this event, Osijek-Baranja County police appeal on citizens not to discard weapons and ammunition in this way and urge them to hand over arms to local police stations without fear that they may be fined for illegally possessing arms and ammunition.(hina) ms
