ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) - Police union today said it will file criminal charges against Premier Ivica Racan, Interior Minister Sime Lucin and police director Ranko Ostojic if the Interior Ministry does not respond to police requests
within seven days. The union is asking of the government as employer, to respect the collective agreement, an urgent start of collective negotiations, and a moratorium on the dismissal of redundant employees as, they claim, care programmes have not been drawn up yet. The union called on all Interior Ministry employees to demand their guaranteed working rights through law suits against the employer, that is, the government and the Interior Ministry.(hina) lml
