ROME, Aug 7 (Hina) - Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic will be indicted for genocide in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, but not in Kosovo, the chief prosecutor of the Hague-based international war crimes tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia, Carla del Ponte told Rome's daily Il Piccolo. We didn't find sufficient evidence to indict him for genocide in Kosovo, del Ponte said. Milosevic is due to appear in the trial chambers on August 30. Del Ponte told the daily she hoped that the French and American forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina would soon arrest the most wanted people from the tribunal's indictments, Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic. Asked if there is concern Milosevic could take his own life, del Ponte said the only time the opportunity came up for him to do this was at the end of March, at the time of his arrest, but is now under supervision.
