On Thursday, Croatia's Ambassador to the United States, Ivan Grdesic, signed an agreement and an additional protocol on NATO and Partnership for Peace members' armed forces' status (SOFA) in Croatia. Grdesic signed this multilateral agreement in Washington in the presence of State Department officials, including the Secretary of State's deputy assistant for Europe, Janet Bogue. Croatia has shown its willingness to accept conditions for the cooperation and strengthen its legal order regarding a very sensitive issue of deployment of other countries' armed forces on its territory, the ambassador said.
