DUBROVNIK, July 7 (Hina) - Croatian and Montenegrin expert teams for borders met in the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik on Saturday to discuss the sea border between the two states. In attendance was the president of Croatia's
state commission for borders, Hrvoje Kacic, who said the expert teams agreed the border on the sea should be established in line with UN's 1982 convention on sea law. "What is encouraging in connection with the land border is that there are no significant differences in the two countries' teams' positions," said Kacic. The head of the Montenegrin delegation, Nebojsa Vucinic, voiced satisfaction with the talks, saying all contentious issues should be settled through negotiations in order to reach solutions acceptable to both sides. The two expert teams will resume talks later this summer.(hina) ha
