prosecutors and police, and forming a new institution for the
struggle against corruption and organised crime (USKOK), the

The experts stressed the Croatian government, alongside other
countries within the Stability Pact, is interested in the concrete
realisation of technical assistance projects as soon as possible,
and via donor countries and the World Bank. The projects, they
agreed, will promote the country's institutional and legislative
framework, and spur the implementation of the main goals of the
anti-corruption initiative.
The planned projects will be submitted to the initiative's
management board and will be discussed by participants of a donor's
conference to be held this October, in all probability in
Washington.
