ZAGREB, July 5 (Hina) - The Romany Union of Croatia and 19 other Romany associations initiated the establishment of the Board of Romany Unions of Croatia (VRUH) which is to serve as an umbrella board and operates as advising and
co-ordinating body. The main purpose of the board is to protect ethnic and cultural heritage and promote social status and rights of Romany community and its members as of equal citizens of Republic of Croatia, said Nusret Seferovic, the board president. VRUH, according to Seferovic, wants the government to propose an operative plan so to employ the Romany capable of work, provide the education of Romany children and establish Romany kindergartens, urbanise existing Romany settlements etc. ,
