ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - All benches in the Croatian parliament endorsed on Wednesday a final bill of amendments to the Crafts Act, which facilitates the crafts business. The aim of the bill is to improve conditions for the development
of crafts and the economy as a whole. This will, among else, be achieved through the education of craftsmen at the Chamber of Crafts. The bill envisages special conditions for opening crafts businesses in areas of special government concern and on the islands, where craftsmen with the required qualifications may open a business and do the master craftsman's certificate examination later. The bill also envisages giving foreign citizens the same right to open a crafts business. Today's agenda includes the election of members to the State Judicial Council.
