ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic and Defence Minister Jozo Rados on Tuesday received Mijo Anic, the Defence Minister of the (Croat-Muslim) Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Anic informed the
two Croatian officials about problems his ministry was facing in the process of the re-organisation of the federal army. He stressed one of the biggest problems would be the layoffs of employees and officers. They also considered the issue of Croatia's budgetary means which should be earmarked for assistance to war victims' families and refugees who would like to come back to their pre-war homes in Bosnia. Croatia has allocated 20 million kuna for refugee returns and this programme is near completion. Granic said Zagreb was planning to grant assistance to civilian institutions directly and with clear purpose, according to a statement issued by the Croatian government.(hina)
