DUBROVNIK-TREBINJE BUS LINE ELICITS PROTESTS DUBROVNIK, June 15 (Hina) - The Dubrovnik-Neretva area branch of Croatia's national headquarters for the protection of the dignity of the Homeland Defence War issued a statement on Friday
protesting against the recent introduction of a bus line between Dubrovnik, southern Croatia and Trebinje, Bosnia. "We wonder if this represents the occupation of Croatia's free territory and if all this can be done without the consent of Croatia's authorities," read the statement forwarded to the government and the public. The statement also reminded of attacks from Trebinje on the Dubrovnik area during the early 1990s Homeland Defence War. On June 13 the UNHCR introduced a free Dubrovnik-Trebinje bus line operating three times a week.(hina) ha sb
