NEW YORK, June 26 (Hina) - Croatian Health Minister Ana Stavljenic Rukavina met on Monday in New York with her colleagues from countries participating in a special session of the U.N. General Assembly on AIDS. The Croatian minister
and Dr Josip Begovac, head of the Croatian HIV/AIDS Centre, participated in the first working table on the prevention and treatment of AIDS. Stavljenic Rukavina held meetings with her Chinese counterpart Zhang Wenkang, Poland's Grzegorz Opal and Romania's Daniela Baros. More than 3,000 representatives from U.N. member-countries, international and national organisations, non-government associations and experts are taking part in the session of the U.N.
