BELGRADE DAILY: COALITION LEADERS HAVE AGREED ON MILOSEVIC'S HAND- OVER BELGRADE, June 21 (Hina) - The leaders of the Yugoslav-Serbian ruling coalition DOS have agreed on a "prompt hand-over" of Slobodan Milosevic to the International
Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY), reports Thursday's issue of Belgrade's Vecernje Novosti daily. Citing its sources in the DOS, the daily says the coalition leaders agreed at a meeting on Tuesday that Milosevic's hand-over was "inevitable" and that their agreement should be okayed by Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica after he his return from a visit to Hungary. The daily believes Kostunica will accept the agreement. "The law on cooperation between Yugoslavia and the ICTY will be adopted in a completely lawful procedure and on the basis of that act Milosevic will be handed over to The Hague," reads the daily.(hina) rml
