PRISTINA, June 17 (Hina) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday afternoon arrived in Pristina from Belgrade on a short and unannounced visit to Kosovo. Sources of the UN civilian mission in Kosovo have said Putin is going to
meet the commander of international peace-keepers (KFOR), Norwegian General Thorstein Skakier, and a 15-member delegation of the UN Security Council, that is on a two-day visit to Kosovo. Russian President is expected to hold the talks at the Slatina airport, 17 kilometres of Pristina, which is partly controlled by Russian KFOR troops. Russian Ministers of Defence and Foreign Affairs, Sergey Ivanov and Igor Ivanov, will meet the UN civilian administrator in Kosovo, Hans Haekkerup, and commanders of the Russian KFOR contingent.
