The situation in Macedonia's crisis regions was relatively calm on
Saturday, said Macedonian Army spokesman Blagoja Markovski. He
said that Macedonian positions in the area of Tetovo and Aracinovo
came under attack on the night between Friday and Saturday.
Occasional firing was also reported in the villages of the Kumanovo
municipality, where Albanian guerrillas regrouped and tried to
break out of encirclement in the village of Slupcane.
