Commenting on the cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Pavkovic said it would be better to organise trials of war crimes suspects in Yugoslavia "because of state interests." In relation to the cooperation of the Yugoslav army with Macedonia's military, he said "there has already been the successful exchange of information and security data referring to southern Serbia and northern Macedonia" as well as the exchange of experience in the fight against terrorists.
