ZAGREB, June 5 (Hina) - ?he Croatian Telekom (HT) management claims that less than 1,000 people participated in Tuesday's protest, organised by six HT trade unions, and not 4,500 as trade union leaders told reporters. The HT
management said in a statement that in the majority of telecommunication centres the protests were held in joint premises or backyards, because they were not reported properly, while in some centres, protests were not held at all. The protester were administrative clerks, while other workers ensured the normal functioning of the telecommunication network. The unionists asked the HT Management to ensure an acceptable model for the restructuring of this company and to pay back the debt, worth 73 million kuna, to workers.
