ZAGREB, June 6 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan spoke today with a delegation of the International Financial Corporation (IFC) headed by Khasraw K. Zamani, IFC director for South Europe and Central Asia. The talks focused
on investments in certain sectors of Croatia's economy, the government's public relations office reported. The IFC is most interested in projects in tourism, the banking sector and industry, and particularly in ship building and the metal industry. Croatia has been a full member of the IFC since 1993. The IFC is a part of the World Bank dealing with promoting private investments and the development of private businesses in developing and transitional countries.
