DUBROVNIK, May 31 (Hina) - Croatia is on the right path to join the NATO, and its final accession into this organisation will depend on Croatia itself, Croatian Defence Minister Jozo Rados said in Dubrovnik today. Rados spoke before
participants of a conference on the promotion of peace and prosperity in the South East of Europe which has entered its fourth and final day. After his address, which was held behind closed doors, the defence minister told reporters Croatia was on the right path to join NATO, but the final entry, along with international support and positive international trends, depends on the country itself. Rados also said the Croatian society is in transition in which the army is still being exploited as a means of political match by certain political groups.
