ZAGREB, May 20 (Hina) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of Croatia on Sunday sent a protest letter to the State Election Commission saying 64 Bosniaks from Cetingrad municipality had been prevented from voting in today's local
election and asked that they be allowed to do so. The people in question are domicile Bosniak residents of the village of Bogovolja in Cetingrad municipality, who had participated in previous elections and the referendum for Croatia's independence, the party claims. Their names are on voters lists but they cannot vote because they do not have "the appropriate documents." The SDA accuses the former authorities of stripping Cetingrad Bosniaks of their basic right to vote. Instead of issuing them with valid documents (citizenship certificates, ID cards and passports), the former authorities gave the Cetingrad Bosniaks ID cards for foreigners although they have been living and have owned
