ZAGREB, May 18 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament will next week resume its 12th session after a two-week break which was scheduled due to the electoral campaign for a local election to take place this Sunday, the parliament said. The
parliament should convene on Wednesday, May 23, for a debate on a final bill on the State Prosecutor's Office. MPs are expected to discuss about 15 more items by the end of the week, when the session should be wrapped up. Those items include changes to the Family Law, the Law on Referendum and Other Forms of Participation in State Authority and Local Self-Government (sponsor Vladimir Seks) as well as a package of bills on power. The parliament should also decide about the establishment of a commission to investigate the lawfulness of wheat transactions last year and the year before, which was requested by one tenth of all deputies.(hina) rml
