BELGRADE, May 14 (Hina) - Yugoslav joint forces on Monday afternoon surrounded Oraovica village near Presevo (south of Serbia) and offered Albanian residents to leave the village, while calling on members of the Presevo, Medvedje and
Bujanovac Liberation Army (OVPMB) to surrender their weapons, the Yugoslav government's press centre in Bujanovac reported. Violent fighting between the Yugoslav forces and Albanian troops began on Sunday night and erupted Monday afternoon with both sides using heavy weaponry. Official Serb sources claim the attack by armed Albanians from the Sveti Ilija hill was quenched following four hours of forceful combat. The fighting continues from other areas. There is no information at hand about any casualties in the Presevo and Oraovica area.(hina) lml
