DUBROVNIK, April 29 (Hina) - Before his departure for Bucharest, where he will attend a two-day summit of the Danube-Carpathian Region on environmental protection and sustainable development, Croatian President Stjepan Mesic held
another meeting with Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski in Dubrovnik on Sunday. The two statesmen met aboard the Croatian Navy ship 'Petar Kresimir IV' and, a short cruise near Dubrovnik, continued their talks which started in Zagreb on Friday. President Mesic said the two countries had excellent political relations and added he hoped the visit would contribute to improving their trade relations. "Our economic cooperation has been poor and I believe that conditions for its improvement, especially in the area of tourism, do exist," Mesic said, adding he expected air service between Poland and Dubrovnik to be established soon.
