ZAGREB, April 18 (Hina) - The co-ordinator of the women's net of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU), Jasna A. Petrovic, has reproached the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund for their failure to
support the sustainable development in countries in transition. During a United Nation's meeting on the viable development, Jasna A. Petrovic, criticised "global rulers" for their neo-liberal policy they were conducting in the countries in transition, the ICFTU's women's network reported on Wednesday. The UN Economic and Social Council's commission for sustainable development is holding the meeting in New York. Ms. Petrovic, a member of the Farmers' Union, was the only union representative from central and eastern Europe at this meeting.
