BRUSSELS BRUSSELS, April 25 (Hina) - A Croatian team and representatives of the European Commission have begun in Brussels on Wednesday the final round of technical negotiations which could result in a fully harmonised text of a
Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the European Union. The Croatian side will propose including in the SAA's political introduction provisions aimed at putting more emphasis on the importance of last year's Zagreb Summit and an individual approach to the EU, Croatia's chief negotiator Neven Mimica said. Today's talks should also result in the completion of negotiations on the liberalisation of the Croatian market for EU products and the duration of transitional periods necessary for the gradual opening of the Croatian market. The talks will also address the right of EU citizens to acquire property in Croatia.(hina) ha sb
