ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - The Croatian Government believes that Slobodan Milosevic must answer for war crimes committed in the name of the great-Serbian policy and that he must be tried by the Hague war crimes tribunal, Government
spokeswoman Aleksandra Kolaric said, commenting on attempts by the Yugoslav authorities to apprehend the former Yugoslav president. It is in Croatia's interest, she said, that Milosevic answer for the destruction, suffering of people and war crimes committed in Croatia and the region. Kolaric said the Croatian government was carefully following the development of the situation in Belgrade. The spokeswoman also said the Croatian government wanted stable and democratic neighbours and a peaceful resolution of the situation in Yugoslavia.(hina) rml
