Ninety-two (92) representatives of the ruling coalition's six parties voted in favour of the constitutional changes, three representatives of the opposition's Party of Rights voted against, while independent representative Ivo Loncar abstained. Disagreeing with the proposed changes, representatives of the strongest opposition party, the Croatian Democratic Union, walked out in protest.
