HR-POLITICS-BULLETIN-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3928 HINA ZAGREB, 10 MARCH 2001 CROATIAN SOLDIERS LEAVE FOR UN PEACE MISSION IN ERITREAZAGREB, March 10 (Hina) - Five Croatian Armed Forces officers on Saturday left Zagreb for Eritrea, where they will participate in a U.N. peace mission as unarmed military observers in a zone of separation between Ethiopia and Eritrea supervising the implementation of a peace agreement the two East-African countries signed late last year after a two-year war. The Croatian officers will join a group of 220 military observers from 24 countries and another 3,900 U.N. troops on the ground. Multinational U.N. troops will supervise the cease-fire and work toward the establishment of trust between the two countries in line with decisions by the U.N.
