ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - The new United States Ambassador to Croatia, Lawrence Rossin, on Thursday held talks with the president of the Serb People's Council (SNV), Milorad Pupovac, on the position of the Serb national community in
Croatia and the issues they face in the reintegration process. According to an SNV statement, Pupovac pointed to the restitution of property as the principal hurdle to faster refugee returns to pre-war homes. He also spoke of an impending census and local elections, as well as issues related to the enforcement of the Amnesty Law.
