The funds invested in the Split licensees will be used to build a new, high technology cable distribution network, which from the outset will enable the reception of more than 35 television and 15 radio channels. The network will also provide additional services, such as Internet access and the development of the telephone system. Copernicus Adriatic plans to invest $15-20 million in Zagreb's cable television sector. Negotiations with the principal licensees are underway. Besides the cable network, the company intends to invest its capital in promising Croatian companies, particularly those dealing with the timber and food processing industries and tourism.
