BH CROAT LEADER AT PROTEST RALLY: BH FEDERATION IS BOSNIAK ENTITY

MOSTAR/BUSOVACA, Feb 28 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) and member of the collective Bosnia-Herzegovina presidency, Ante Jelavic, said on Wednesday the country's Croat-Muslim entity (Federation of Bosnia- Herzegovina) had turned into a Bosniak entity, which he said the Croat people was not willing to accept. Jelavic made the statement at a protest rally staged in the central Bosnian town of Busovaca over the verdicts the Hague war crimes tribunal reached in the trial of Bosnian Croats Dario Kordic and Mario Cerkez, sentencing them to 25 and 15 years in prison respectively. Assessing that the country's authorities were being formed against the will of the Croat people, Jelavic announced that authorities in the Croat-dominated parts of the country would not recognise the authority of the Alliance for Changes - a coalition of political parties led by the Social Democratic Party. The protest meeting in Busovaca was held under the slogan "We Are All Dario Kordic - We Are All Mario Cerkez". The rally was organised by war veterans' associations and the HDZ branch in Busovaca.
