RIJEKA, Feb 7 (Hina) - Milan Canic, one of the two new suspects in an investigation against persons charged with war crimes, committed in the Gospic area in 1991, was questioned by Rijeka County Court investigating judge Sajonara
Culina on Wednesday. Attorneys for the 'Gospic group', who attended the questioning, told reporters Canic dismissed all incriminations related to the events at Lipova Glavica, Pazariste and Karlobag, where Serbs civilians had allegedly been executed. They added that Canic gave a detailed account of his role in the Homeland War as a deputy to general Mirko Norac, in charge of the town's defence and logistics.
