ZAGREB, Feb 5 (Hina) - Representatives of religious communities in Croatia support in principle a draft act on religious communities. According to a statement issued by the Croatian Roman Catholic Bishops' Conference (HKB),
dignitaries held a meeting on Monday in the HKB offices to discuss the bill. On that occasion they welcomed the Government's positive stand and intention of cooperating actively with the religious communities in the process of the adoption of the bill. The dignitaries gave several remarks and objections regarding the text of the act. According to the statement, they also agreed that they should meet several times a year and thus they could encourage their faithful and the public to show "more cooperation, harmony and understanding". According to the statement, they also agreed that they should meet

Next inter-religious meeting will take place in the Islamic
community's facilities in Zagreb.
The statement read that representatives of the Serb Orthodox Church
and Evangelical Church "could not respond to the invitation" to
attend today's meeting.
