DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, Feb 2 (Hina) - A meeting of the committee of Adriatic Ionian Initiative senior officials, which gathered 38 participants from seven countries, was held in the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik Friday. The
meeting was attended by representatives of Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Yugoslavia and Greece. This is the first meeting of the committee of Ionian Initiative senior officials, since Croatia took over the chairing over the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative, as a part of the Zagreb Summit. At the meeting, the officials discussed joint projects in the region, regarding environmental protection, economy, small and medium entrepreneurship and tourism. National coordinator for the Stability Pact Ivica Tomic said that a project regarding the issue of illegal migrations in the Adriatic-Ionian region and the implementation of the visa regime was an important project.(hina) it
