ZAGREB, Jan 23 (Hina) - First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic and the incoming US Ambassador Lawrence Rossin discussed on Tuesday Croatia-US relations and the need to improve the already good ties. According to a statement from the
government's office for public relations, Granic expressed belief that bilateral relations had to be built on trust and openness between the two sides, which the US ambassador agreed with. Granic informed Rossin about the results of the latest meeting between Croatian leaders and the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and changes Croatia was planning to introduce in the investigation and processing of war crimes.
