ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - Road traffic on most Croatian roads is normal, but due to changing weather conditions in mountainous regions, with occasional snowfalls, winter-driving equipment is recommended, the Croatian Auto Club reported.
Roads in the central mountainous regions of Lika and Gorski Kotar may be slippery due to the melting snow. The bridge linking the northern Adriatic island of Krk and the mainland and the bridge over the Maslenica Strait in central Dalmatia have been closed for double-deckers, vehicles with trailers and motorcycles due to a strong gale. The gale has closed some sections of the Adriatic Highway and severed ferry links between the mainland and the island of Pag. A landslide on the state road D-8 near Starigrad Senjski has closed one lane for traffic. Freight vehicles and buses are redirected via Otocac and Gospic toward Senj and Gracac and personal vehicles are let through alternately. No
