ZAGREB, Dec 31 (Hina) - Most roads in Croatia were wet and slippery on Sunday morning, the Croatian auto club reported. Drivers were warned to be particularly beware of slippery conditions in the areas of Cabar and Delnice (central
Croatia). Thick fog lessened visibility in the areas around Zagreb, Varazdin, and on the Zagreb-Slavonski Brod motorway. Owing to a rockslide near the Starigrad Sensjki section of the D8 state road, only one lane was open for personal cars this morning. Busses and trucks could not use that part of the road for the time being. Traffic was smoothly running at most border crossings. The ferry traffic between Split and central Adriatic islands, hampered by a strong gale yesterday afternoon, was back to normal on Sunday morning.(hina) ms
