BOOK ON CONSTITUTION AND HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION PRESENTED

NOVI VINODOLSKI, Jan 7 (Hina) - A book, entitled "The Constitutional Court in the Protection of Human Rights", was presented in the northern Adriatic town of Novi Vinodolski on Saturday, on the occasion of the day of this town, where the Common Law Book, a supreme legal document, unique in mediaeval Europe, regulating relations between princes and common people, was published in 1288. The book includes 15 lectures by the most renowned Croatian and world experts on constitutional law, who participated in an international seminar on the role of constitutional courts, held in Novi Vinodolski and Zagreb last year. The book interprets the Constitution, laws, by-laws and regulations relating to the rule of law and the protection of human rights, it was said at the presentation.
